Zzzquil and breastfeeding

Can I take it? DD is 6 days shy of 10 months.

If you can take Benadryl, you can take ZQuil.

I took 1/2 a dose. I'm fine with her being sleepy and sleeping! It's been a rough few days

I was told Benadryl can cause a decrease in supply.

It's been so long since I BFed, I don't know anymore. lol
But Zzzquil is the same as Benadryl, 25mg diphenhydramine.

Benadryl can greatly decrease milk supply and I am thinking zzzquil would to :[

I only took 1/2 a dose. I'm not worried about my supply. It shouldn't effect it after one night, right??
We have just had a rough few nights and I needed sleep last night.

If you didn't notice a difference by now I am sure you are alright. :]
There are ways to increase your supply back up anyway. I think it's ok.

Remember though, weight loss and lack of wet diapers are the only two indications of low milk supply. So don't scare yourself to much mama <3
