due date changing later?

I was in the ER and am supposed to be 17 weeks 1 day. They changed it to 18 weeks and 2 days and gave me a new due date of July 10th. Has this happened to anyone else before? I know babies grow faster closer to the third trimester but I didn't know they could measure big at this point.

The ER doctor can't change your due date, only your OB can do that. They just gave you their estimate from the u/s which can be off. Did you have a first trimester dating u/s?

If you had an early ultrasound done that is the due date I would I go by. I had 4 different due dates with one of my boys and the doctor went by the ultrasound date.

No one but your dr can change your due date.. They can tell you that that is how far along the baby is measuring. The original ultrasound is the most accurate And a week makes no difference. Heck the due date doesn't even matter. The baby will come when it is ready!
