Tips for selling online?

Anyone who regularly sells items online, I could really use some tips! I have decided to start using my hobby to make money and start selling crib quilts online but Im not sure where to start, how much to sell them for, or anything really? I've also heard about people getting scammed and screwed over selling online, is there any way to prevent that?

You should try selling on etsy.com

Ebay, Amazon? Use Paypal. I haven't seen your work so idk how much you'd sell them for but don't over price them.

If your selling something you make your best bet is etsy. I buy and resell things on ebay. Also, I know quite a few people who set up facebook pages and sell off of facebook.
