Can anyone tell me what it is? Googling is giving me a headache.

Also has anyone heard of david accardo? He practices in Richmond. Caidens pedi said something about him being a leading authority in autism but idk.... The doctor said something about autism spectrum and aspergers.

It was odd he saw it in C because he is currently being evaluated by two different doctors.

autism is a different brain state - reality for an autistic is not socially nuanced, they don't know how to imagine what you're thinking, or project emotional states or even understand the concept of emotions (until it's described in very concrete terms, mechanistically) ... each autistic person is unique in how they manifest their autism, but generally the more intense it is, the more developmentally delayed they'll be - due to a lack of ability to process what you're saying b/c of how they register data, which is markedly different than how the rest of us do.

they may obsess about things that you can't relate to whatsoever, they may not learn to speak ever or only after many years.

aspergers is the "light" version of autism...

but the cause and definition of both are still highly controversial as the body of evidence continues to grow and autism rates continue to mysteriously increase.

from what I understand aspergers syndrome is a mild form of autism. I'm actually taking my 4 yr old son to the psychologist the 26th because he is and has been exhibiting signs of this for awhile. I don't know a whole lot about it, just a little from child development enough for me to know the signs lol.
