Judgmental people ugh!

So I am walking out of salleys beauty supply store with my daughter in my hand shes almost 6 months.
While im walking out this lady says rudely "Is that your baby?"
I say "Yes?"
She says "your really young."
I look at her like are you serious. and say "uh I am 20"
She says "oh you look younger."
and walk out of the store...

I know stupid to be mad, but I was livid lol. Just because of the way she talked to me like it was an abomination or something for me to have a baby.

I do look young, I know that so I don't care when people say I look young, but seriously why be rude when you don't know how old I really am. And Yes, I am still young to have a baby but I don't need someone being a judgmental bitch lol

I would have told her to worry about herself and how old I am is none of her business.

Meh we get that all the time. You guys are so young to have three kids. Thanks got your input but I don't care lol is what I think.

I had a walmart employee tell me one time it was too late for me to have my 5yo out and he should be at home in bed.

People are dumb and think they need to run their mouths about whatever they feel like lol.

People do it all the time my best friend and I held hands in Wal-Mart because she was feeling dizzy and wanted to make sure if she started falling she wouldn't hit her head as we were walking to the front of the store to the bench this older couple kept giving us dirty looks then eventually said we should be ashamed of ourselves and keep our relationship private we just laughed and my friend kissed me on my check the look on their faces where priceless and we both got a good laugh.

Once while out with my SIL & kids an older man walked by & said something about kids having kids. Sorry old bag, I was 23 & she was 19 & married lol

Some people are just stupid.


I was walking to the store in the summer with DS in his stroller. He was eating those yogurt drop things from graduate.
Some lady stopped me while I was walking and said "OMG! Are you giving him gum!?"
I just gave her a look and said "no".
She said "oh thank god! You just looked young".

I just walked away. Nothing that came out of her mouth was good.

I'd brush it off. People say dumb things

A cashier when I was buying a pregnancy test (with my daughter in tow) said "Is this for you? Let's hope it's negative." Um. .. thanks.

And when I had both my kids together at a store, and older lady asked if they were twins. I said no, they were about a year apart. She says "Oh, well someone couldn't keep her panties on, huh?"

Really? lol I laugh things like that off.

Not sure why people think your business is any of their concern.

i probably would have freaked out! but then again, idk im shy and she probably would have got to me.

A police officer came up to me when my daughter was a newb and said "You look awful young to be smoking miss. And why aren't you in school? It's not a holiday."

He thought I was 16.... he was off by more than just a few years.  
When I pointed out my daughter in the car, I said "Young or old, I'm awful smart to not be smoking around her. But that's none of your business."  

He left quickly.

Someone did almost that exact same thing to me. I was grocery shopping and had my then-8 month old in his carrier. I was waiting for the deli to slice my roast beef, and the lady next to me says to her mom (not even to me!) "She is so young to have a baby". I turned to her and said, "Excuse me? If you're going to talk about me, I would prefer if you don't do it standing a foot away from me where I can hear you." She goes, "Oh, well you look really young to have a baby." I told her I was 23 and she goes "Oh, well that's not young. You just look so young! Of course *I* didn't have my first until I was 31!" I really had to bite my tongue.
