re: Judgmental people ugh!

I get that all the time, and I'm 27. My patients are always asking me if I'm old enough to be a nurse. I guess that's their nice way of saying they don't trust me, because I look young.

lol. I just laugh about it. I mean, I was 25, a SAHM Mom with a degree, my husband has a great job, both of us have totally paid our own way and have been together since we were 17. We are basically the epitome of boring, grounded, young adults. So the fact that I look young and have so many people acting so amazed that I have two kids drives me nuts.

Yes, I had them close together. I choose to do it that way and I don't regret it. But, it isn't worth the energy to be mad about. I just laugh it off because I won't waste my time to worry about what some stranger seems to think about me and my family.

lol! I got that when I worked. I was 23, and they were like "Are you old enough to be working?"

Or I would always get stopped for curfew. lol

This made me lol thinking of when I lived in SC and this lady saw me with my three youngest ( ages 3,2 & nb at the time) in Walmart. She literally had the nerve to say wow you young girls have no clue what you're doing to yourselves just spitting them out back to back now a days! I feel sorry for you. WTF?! I was like how old are you? She says 24. My reply? Wow, I'm 32 and I'm really sorry for you, you look much older geez...30's not looking to bright for you right now. Then I walked away smiling Lmao.

Well sure, I understand that too. But there was more conversation in between that my fingers were not willing to type. He asked to see my ID which is a terrible photo of what I don't look like anymore.

And he didn't believe it was me. It was this whole unnecessary issue.
