Mixed Babies

Well I'm 18 weeks and i'm not sure what I'm having yet, but Im black and my baby's dad is white so I'm having a hard time thinking of names. My family says I pick names that are too white and I dont want any "too black". But I want a good mixed name for my child. So any ideas???

How bout its your kid so pick whatever name you like and screw what everyone else says.

Just pick a name you both like! Don't worry about what anybody thinks, as long as YOU like the name you pick don't let anybody talk you out of it if you love the name.

Pick a name that makes YOU happy. It's YOUR child.
I'm mixed and my child is mixed, there's no way you can please both sides, so don't even try & you shouldn't even make an effort to.

Just name baby a name you like. IMO there is no such thing as a white baby name or a mixed baby name. There are really only names. Try only to please yourself. Your family will eventually come around to the name even if they claim they hate it at first. Congratulations and good luck!

My babies are mixed and we picked names we loved and agreed on and thought suited them when we first met them. We didn't pick names based on the colour of their skin.

My aunt called my daughters name a "black" name.
I had no clue what she was talking about and used it anyways because me and DH loved it.

Im black and my fiance is mexican.my oldest name is xavier which uh is I'm ethnic to some people and my youngest is named Kevin lol i guess its "white" it doesn't matter don't go for names only based on race.my parents have "white" names but they're obviously not.

I'm mixed and my kids are mixed as well. I never knew there were mixed baby names.... I suggest giving them a name that a transitions well from childhood into adulthood. No weird spellings and all of that jazz.
