I never had a father & just lost my Mom in December so it just really got to me.

  I'm sorry mama! That kind of "no valentine this year" post is completely different than the high school girls who are crying because they didn't get flowers. I swear people I went to school with would start dating someone new like a week before Valentine's Day JUST so they had a Valentine & could get a gift   lol.

Worse then that, honestly, I hate the single girls who cry about how unfair Valentines day it. Or talk about how there shouldn't be one day to show affection, or be forced to, or how it's a corporate holiday.

For smurfs sake. Don't celebrate it then. I don't celebrate Good Friday but I don't need to tell everyone else off about how dumb a day it is.

I'm so tired of it. EVERY year it's "think about all the single people out there with no Valentine. This is the worst holiday ever!" blah blah blah.

I feel bad for people who are not with their SO (be is deployment, death, trips, something like that) but they are rarely the ones who go off about it. I'm just waiting for my FB newsfeed to be filled with all my single friends bitching and moaning about being excluded.
