Honestly, if its not life threatening, I would just keep BFing. I know you put your LO's health above yours.

Got donor milk if you absolutely have to stop breastfeeding mama. Its free and safer then formula. Jus syain. :/ It is the solution to your problems imo. If anything if you have to stop it would at the VERY LEAST cut down on what you are paying for formula because you would only need it to supplement if you run out of donor milk. Many babies are breastfed exclusively from different woman. Its fine and safe.
