Kidne infection and blood in urine question

I think I might have a kidney infection. Nothing new. I used to get them all the time. 6-7 a year.

The only symptom I have ever had with them is back pain and blood in the urine (not visible blood)

So now I have back pain.

But I'm also menstruating. Would a pee test be able to tell the difference between menstrual blood and blood coming from the urine?

I've had tons of experience with stones but never infection. I believe they should be able to tell the difference between the blood as their looking for a higher or lower count of white or red cells *sorry i'm not quite sure but I think it has something to do with that.

It wouldn't hurt just to go see your doctor and see what they say!
