recommend a carseat?

posted 7th Feb
I'm buying LO a cheaper car seat until I get my income tax back (then I'll be buying a more expensive, better made one).
Anyone know of a sturdy made car seat for a 12 month old for $60 or less?

not that cheap, my son is rear facing in a safety first all in one. it rear faces until 35lbs. I got it at wal mart for about $100
Since your baby should still be rear facing, i don't think there are any seats out there that are cheaper than 100bucks.

Depending on how big your LO is and whether or not you still want to RF there are some at Walmart for around that price. DS car seat was around 80. It's the Graco comfortsport. I really like it

There are several carseats for under a 100 dollars that go up to 35+ for RFing.

yeah I see that now!! I am excited about that since we need a new carseat for this new baby!!

When we bought my son's we went in person and they never seem to have a huge selection out on the shelves, their online selection is much bigger!!

The longest lasting carseats of in the "Cheap" category are going to be the costco apt or scenera. ($40-$50) The tribute, comfortsport, etc are cheap, but won't last as long as the apt or scenera. If you can spend just a bit more, the safety first guide 65 (about $80) is the next best.

I'd get the Cosco Scenera if it's going to be used for a short time. It's a decent seat for right around $40.00. We used one for quite a while until we could afford the Graco My Ride and then the Size4Me.

I'm planning on buying the MyRide 65 too once i get my taxes back. I was gonna buy a second car seat too for when we rode with other people since the MyRide is a big car seat.
