I had them at 16 weeks & had surgery to flush them out & a stent placed for a week. I cut out all soda & salty food to avoid getting them again.

That sounds like it royally sucks. I've only ever had small ones that I was able to pass and those hurt like a bitch.

Ya that is a good idea about cutting out the soda and salt. I've been bad this baby loves root beer! LOL
I started peeing blood July 17 thinking oh maybe it's just the start of my period.. well after a few times of going to the washroom I realized it was in my urine and not a normal period type blood. So I went to the doctor and he said since I had a history of stones before but just have never passed them, that it was probably a stone bouncing around scaping the kidneys. So I went for an ultrasound and xray... well the following tuesday night I went to bed and woke up in the middle of the night, with that horrible pain! So my dad took me to the hospital and they had the morphine in my arm within 10 min. I couldn't sit or stand and could barely breathe till the pain killers worked. That night they did the surgery to get the stone but since the stone was 1cm in diameter and I had been bleeding all day they weren't able to get it out. I had a stent put in.
A stent is one of the worst things on this earth!!I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy! Anyways.. the doctor said to keep the stent in for a week or 2 till everything settled down and he would try to get the stone again. I said ok and went home. Well another week passed, (obv we're not having sex in this time because of the horrible stent) and I was so sick to my stomach everyday allday. So I went back to the doctor and he told me I was pregnant!! They sent me for ultrasound the next few days and told me I was 7 weeks pregnant. So they did the surgery without knowing I was pregnant *they tested the week previous when I originally went in for the bleeding. Then the doctor said that they had to keep the stent in until I was at least 14 weeks so that the pain wouldn't come back and they could operate. I guess it's safe to do this when your in the 2nd trimester.
This was all back in November, they did the second surgery and got the stone out and the stent didn't even have to go back in!
Now last week I get the same stone pain but on the other side.... sure enough both kidneys have stones in them again and it's painful!!
I'm not going to put this baby through another surgery but what do I do with the pain??Any tips??It's only 9 more weeks but still!
