i need suggestions

My son has had fever now 6 days even on ceftriaxone and omnicef. First was shot second orally. Has a rash all over and the fever is managed half ass with tylenol and motrin. Tested neg for strep... i just dont know! Going to doctors the 4th time this week in about an hour. Just figured i would get a jump. 16 month sickly boy since he was born.
