1 year old

My son just turned 1 last weekend. This morning he woke up with a runny nose and im thinking bc someone left the air on last night and it got cold in our house. Is there anything that i can give him over the counter now that he is 1? or do i still need to call the doctor. He has some claratin and prednasone from last month that is still good. So i gave him some claratin this mornin.
