Quoting Asher's mommy [Expecting :" The thought of cleaning my kitchen, hanging pictures in the baby's room, washing her tiny clothes, etc ... [snip!] ... the constant back pain. I dunno about nesting, just wake me up when it's time to go to the hospital. I'm drained. *yawn*"
This is my first. I was originally due today. So I'm either 39-40 weeks. Doesn't really matter honestly because I'm done either way. The house is gross and I feel awful asking SO to do dishes and clean he works all day etc., while I sit at home and lay in bed praying/do squats and pray/or take walks and wait for labor lol. Luckily I nested forever ago, and stored her clothes where they can't get dirty dusty or cat haired up. Almost there though right? I should be 'there' but I'm not. That alone seems daunting to me
Just rest. I haven't slept at night either. Between having to sleep on the pullout couch (It's lower to the ground than our bed considerably) and my cats going nuts at night, contractions, ribs popping out, my hips grinding together, and restless leg as soon as I do get comfy. I guess everyone was right when they said this is the worst part next to labor itself. Good luck Mama.
