Amniotic Fluid or Pee ?

How will I tell the difference? Tmi, tried smelling it from when i first noticed it on my panty and it was order less, so I stupidly put on a scented pad and waited for it to come out again, which it did, but it smell like fresh pad -_- I'm going to use a napkin instead and go from there but what other signs can lead me to thinking its fluid. It seems clear in color. Its also watery and not thick like my usual discharge. TIA Ladiesss!!!

Go to L&D. They can use a strip to check the ph.

Lay down and if you still feel it leaking, then it's fluid. Also if you get up and feel it leaking, it could be fluid.

I personally would rather be safe than sorry and go get it checked. Especially if you're not at your OB for every little ache and pain. They'd rather you check and be wrong than not check and have your kid on your living room floor like this girl I know.  

I forgot to add this. It may be a stupid question but I'm truly curious. Do you have to be dilated to leak?

No you do not have to be dilated. I wasn't. And at 34 weeks my water was leaking and then broke as soon as I got a room at the hospital.

You're not supposed to have her vaginally right? I would get you checked out honestly.

Ugh i got up and a little bit came out but just so little though. I wiped and now I'm having a little bit of clear discharge -_- I think I'm gonna go to L&D and just be better safe than sorry since I only have a ride now since hubby has to go to work later.
