Climbers?

Do any of you have super active kids who climb? Lol. I don't think there is a way for me to baby proof. He just climbed books to get tall enough to reach up to get something. He is only 10 months old and he is pretty much running. lol. But no matter how I move things, he finds new things to climb. I'm always with him, but what do you ladies do with your climbers?

He will be in gymnastics as soon as he's old enough. lol.

Dd will be a year old Saturday and she climbs everything. She started climbing out of her walker at 8 months, she stands up in her high chair and try to climb out of that to. She is climbing on furniture and every thing. I have to take her with me every where I go there is no leaving her for just a second lol my son was never like this

um,can you put baby gates up to prevent him from climbing on things?

My 11 month old daughter loves climbing too. however,she hasn't climbed on top of boxes yet. For the stairs we have a baby gate up. The only other thing she climbs on alot is a little kids chair which is possibly going to be put up so she can't climb on it.

She also climbs on toys,so she can get into the toybox but nothing i can do to stop that.

Lol. It's toys he's climbing on... He's gated into whichever room he's playing in. I move things and he moves them to wherever he wants to climb.   I guess we'll see.

My 4 yr old was like that early on. I just let her do it whenever she wanted to, if she fell oh well she will learn eventually that it hurts. lol

She is still a climber. My now 11 yr old niece is like that too, but she can climb up a wall holding onto nothing at all, just like spiderman climbing up walls.

Once a climber always a climber. lol

I threw mine in gymnastics and it didn't help much. Now she likes to flip off the couches and she just likes to scare the crap outta me. She is 3 now but she still knows how to scare me, lol. Good luck

just be sure to anchor your furniture  

I wish we could anchor our end tables haha this dude is ALL OVER the place

My little guy was maybe 14 months when he figured out that he could flip buckets upside down to reach the sink or move chairs over to the kitchen counter to get cookies down. Just make sure your book cases are anchored to the wall and dangerous things are in a locked closet.

Oh my gosh I have had the same problem with my daughter, and it only takes her two seconds to figure out what to climb on/how to climb up it. Shes usually really good about climbing back down so thats good lol.
