Just out of curiosity, and no judging here at all, but why don't you want to do baby to breast? Whether you BF or not your boobs will become engorged and hurt and leak. I've been told that if you want to pump exclusively you should at least wait about 2 weeks when you have a good supply and demand going with your milk before you start pumping.

to be honest, boob action is a super sexual thing for me. and i just, no lol i cant have my child in my though process at all when it comes to my boobs. I feel like it would totaly ruin it for me

Ok first off, I really want to recommend that you at least TRY breast feeding your daughter at the breast. You may feel differently after trying it, if you don't that's fine, but you can't say it's going to be weird because you've never done it. Either way you're not going to want to just stop doing it one day out of the blue. You will need to gradually slow down. I had a fairly cheap playtex pump. ($70-80 at Walmart) I wouldn't recommend the items that come with it (it had the drop-ins) they leaked. But you can attach almost any bottle and I think bag to it. Other than the storage products leaking I LOVED it.

My son was 9 1/2 pounds so yeah I was cut. They shut the epi off on me so I could feel everything by the time he was born, but I am soooo thankful for that. I just basically breezed thru the middle of the labor   the only problem I had during the birth was not wanting to stop to breathe. After we spent 2 1/2 days in the hospital I was up walking in Walmart the next day. I was a little sore when I would walk a lot but I think it also helped me because I wasn't thinking about it a whole lot. And FYI if you get the epi you won't be able to move like the other ladies are talking about. Just a fore warning

They may be sexual for you but they are intended to feed your baby.

Thats great. but they were in my boyfriends mouth first and helped the process to making my daughter in the first place. i dont wanna ever think about them being in the same place. I havent even had sex sence finding out i was pregnant. nothing sexual, no masterbation, nothing. Its weird enough that My daughters guna be coming out where dady put it in lol

Okay - so I had a 4th degree tear (which means through muscle) into my rectal muscle. It took about 2 hrs to stitch me up - I have no idea the actual number of stitches, but it was over 200. That is all I recall for accuracy there. I had lots of pain - and a year after the fact they finally confirmed what I had long suspected whcih was that I also broke my tailbone. I ttook me 8 weeks to be able to sleep in my own bed because I couldn't even do stairs. So it's hard to say. Breaking your tailbone is a SOB - and I couldn't tell WTF felt so bad down there - it allllll felt horrible for quite a while. With #2 - same length of labor, but larger baby & right after birth I felt pretty great other than some 'rhoids. Seriously. Like I felt fine to care for him & my 3 yr old & myself just fine. In fact I told Dh he could go back to work earlier than he planned (he just started a new job). He took time off because it was so rough after #1, he wanted to be able to help me, turned out I felt awesome. Like I felt better the SAME day I gave birth than I did the weeks before I went into labor - because I wasn't hauling a big belly around anymore & could bend over easily, etc. LOL So yeah - I was up & down & in & around the same day & ready to get teh hell out ASAP - I wasn't even there 25 hs after. The minimum they like is 24 & I was counting minutes with bags packed ready to go home.

I had trouble Breast feeding with my 1st baby n at 4 weeks I started pumping using a manual pump from tommee tippee took about 20-30 mins to pump both boobs n I pumped every 3 hours through the day n had a 5 hour break over nite as that's how long my daughter started sleeping through the nite after I started pumping her food. I did this for 6mths it worked for me n I was happy to be giving my daughter breast milk, u can pump extra n freeze any spare milk u have but must use within 3 mths. I hope this helps

An ADULT wouldn't find it weird that their baby was coming out of their vagina because that's what happens   holy smurf the guy sticks his penis in there and then 40 weeks later a baby comes out! ever heard of tokophobia?? it was first introduced to me in the 3rd grade when i showed up on my first day to a heavely pregnant teacher. I had a panic attach, threw up at her desk and was sent home. They had to change my classroom and everything. Its taken major balls and counciling to make it this far. I dont like being pregnant, i dont like it at all. Even her movments make me sick and i cant wait to get her out of me. Im sorry were not all flooding with motherly instinct and want our child suckling the teet but the fact im even trying for my childs health, dispite my phobia, says enough for me. breast milk is breast milk, who smurfing cares if it comes in a bottle or directly from my tit.
