VERY VERY dry hair

posted 7th Feb
I chopped off all of my hair right before I found out I was pregnant, and ever since its been growing, its been sooo dry. No matter what I do, I try to co wash atleast once a week (something I cut back cause I thought it was making matters worst), I oil and put water on my hair daily, and I sleep with satin scarf. I'm soo tired of my hair these days. Anyone else going thru the same thing? Any suggestions? I'm willing to hear it all!

Thanx in advance!!!!

Honey and olive oil worked great for me. Put some in a cup, microwave it till its warm. Check the temp before putting it on so you don't burn your head. Put it on your hair, wrap it up in a towel for thirty minutes and wash out.

Try a hair mask, either store bought or google recipies. Also at least every other week I throw some conditior on it (damp or dry hair) put it in a shower cap and clean the house.

Try Redken All Soft... I use that and a Treasme hair masque (you can get that walmart) My hair was dry in the beginning due to the fact I didn't put conditioner on it... because the smell of soap made me dry heave lol... but I got my hair trimmed and got the Redken All Soft.... and I have always liked the hair masque... it's a little tub, and it's sea green in color... about 5 dollars at Wal-Mart... you leave it on for 5 minutes.... that with the All Soft... makes your hair feel really soft.

you can get this in a small bottle... and other places have it... but I recommend ulta.com, or if you have a store around.... we do 45 minutes away which is where I get mine.

Use sulfate, silicone, paraben and alcohol free hair products. Always check the ingredient list of the products you buy for your hair and avoid those ingredients so you can get softer and healthier hair. There's this line called pro naturals that is really good for dry hair because its so gentle and it uses argan oil which is the best thing you can use on your hair. Look them up online and see if you like anything from them like shampoo, conditioner, argan oil for after a shower, hair masks, etc.
