Toddler bedding for a crib?

Does toddler bedding work for a standard crib mattress? I want to get DS a bed set (finally, he's almost 2 lol) but he's still in the crib for now.

Also, til what age do toddler beds tend to last? we're expecting again but new baby probably won't go to the crib for a while since we tend to co-sleep for the first few months but I'm not sure if we should buy a toddler bed for DS or just get a full size eventually...

Yes, mattress is the same size, just use the sheet only if he's under a year old.

ok. He'll be two in 2 days. He's only ever slept with a sheet and a small blanket.. not even a pillow.

Toddler bedding fits the crib mattress. Pillows are fine at that age, too.

My almost-4-year-old is still in a crib converted to toddler bed...he's 41 inches tall, 36 pounds. He could stand something longer and wider, but it works well enough (he still prefers to sleep with me, but that's another matter).

oh that looks like plenty of room. my son still sleeps scrunched up too lol. i'm thinking we'll get him some bedding for the crib and we'll probably turn it into the toddler bed in the next few months. then when new baby comes and needs the crib we'll just buy him a full size.

We are planning to give her a big girl bedroom next year with the tax refund.

awesome! yeah we're in a 2 bedroom house right now.. really hoping we can get into a 3 bedroom before our 2nd LO is old enough for their own room.

Lol that's how I am

i got mine a toddler bed at 18 months and he LOVED it.. but we ended up switching to a twin size race car bed.. but his toddler bed went to his grandmas house and at almost 3 years old he still sleeps in it just fine with space to grow.
