Weight Gain

Should I seriously be freaking out right now? I am almost 3 months pregnant. I am still the same weight I was before I got pregnant which is 114. I've read a couple of online baby sites and it says I should have gained at least 5lbs by now and since I am considered underweight, I need to gain between 28-40lbs. That sounds like a lot to me! I was 113lbs when I was 22 and got pregnant with DS. I only gained 23lbs and got up to 136. Should I be worried?

i wasnt gaining either than between weeks 14 and 16 i gained 10 lbs and it was all uphill from there lol

no you shouldn't be worried   Everyone is different. I don't think I had gained a full 5lbs until 20w even...

That's good to know. I wonder what my midwife is going to say on Monday when I have my very first appointment lol. The ladies in the office are going to look at me like I'm not even pregnant lol

really, I know it's hard but I wouldn't even stress at all. some chicks (like you) are just freaks of nature like that. hahahh I'm just kidding! do you know you eat enough in a day?

I actually lost weight at first and only gained 15 my whole pregnancy. I would talk to your midwife and see what she thinks

I donno. I eat to eat sometimes lol. I work in a restaurant so I am always around food. I work at Chili's man  I'm always eating something. Sometimes I am not in the mood to eat, especially around fajitas. Mood killers

you work at Chilis, I didn't know that! we go there all the time lmao. maybe try tracking your calories for a few days & see what the number is?? my fav app for that is myfitnesspal.

At my last appointment I only gained 1.5lbs and I was 3 1/2 months along then.

I am 24 weeks today   and I still haven't gained a pound yet. My OB isn't worried. The baby will get what the baby needs regardless if you gain or not. You are still early, so you may still gain. Either way, I am sure everything is fine  

I had to add. I haven't gained anything, but my hubby has gained 15 pounds already! BWAHHAHA!

Yeah, I had only gained 2 pounds. I was up to 107. Woot.

I wouldn't you werefeeling crappy for a bit too. At my last appt I was 15 weeks and hadn't gained a pound. Curious to see what I am at my next appt!

I'm 14 wks pregnant with my 2nd (they always say you show earlier with the 2nd). I still have a flat tummy and haven't gained weight either (I also didn't gain weight or show with my first pregnancy at this point either). So I am sure you are fine. Just make sure you are eating plenty of nutritious food!
