If Your SO Is a Mechanic...

Sorry if this is a little too personable, but we are a little desperate at the moment. If your SO if a mechanic and if he's comfortable with it, could he give us some friendly advice/guidance? I know this is weird and if you don't want to respond that's fine. But we are having a weird issue with our car and could use some help. We're trying to figure out what this part is on our car that's leaking. If you/your SO can help us out, plz PM me and I'll send our number. TIA

What color, and what is the smell of the fluid?

What make and model? What color is the fluid?

SO said he needs to know more what the problem is instead.

my SO could probably offer some advice with more info. he has his mechanics degree and grew up in a mechanics shop

Chrysler LHS, year is 2000.
It's leaking coolant, but we're not sure what the part is that it's leaking from. We JUST changed the radiator because we thought that's what was leaking, but we see now that it not the radiator. And it's not a radiator hose. DH says it's this metal piece that has a part rusted off that it's leaking from and we have no clue what it is

My SO is a mechanic so if nobody else answers first ill ask him in the morning. Is there any way you can send a pic of the part where its leaking

Where it is it would be very difficult to get a pic, its up above the oil pan in the middle. There is one lady whose SO is trying to help right now. I'll let you know if we get it figured out or not. Thank you for offering!
