I was just poking fun. Idk if they have this expression in Australia, but here when somebody says something in a tone that makes it sound like people should all be very proud of them or it makes them special or something along those lines, it's common to sarcastically reply with, "Want a cookie?"

Don't mind me, I'm harmless.

I wish I knew to rear face my boys longer but can't change it now. My daughter is 22lbs 9oz and 30in. I'm happy to say she is still rear facing in her big girl carseat. Which goes to 40lbs.

Umm no. My daughter is 5 1/2 to and when she was an infant the law here was a year old. That's it no younger. The idiot that's in charge now changed it to 6 months from July last year.

I didn't say yours was. I said mine is. So in that 5 years of her life it was a year old to forward face. It's never been from day one.

Your post said my daughter is five and a half to therefore indicating mine is 5 and a half. Read your post properly before you jump down my throat.

The car seat law was changed in 2010, the same time they brought in the 7 point harness. It was then and still is now, 6 months rear facing and you can turn after that. It was never enforced as law 1 year old from 2009 to present

Wow settle, you're be awfully defensive. I didnt jump down your throat. And I wasn't indicating anything. Your daughter could be 2/3/4 but shed still be younger than my daughter. And I'd still be a well she's 5 and its always been a year old, understand? She was born in 2007, where it was a year old.

And yes it was changed in 2010 because I remember getting in trouble with my son about it. (Don't know why I said last year, my son is 3 and he was around 10 months.)

And I have always read the Rta website carseat laws because nsw is very strict here. Revenue raisers.

Which I was just informing you. Have that cookie the other person posted and relax.

She pretty much said HER daughter is 5 1/2. and just because the law says you can, doesn't mean its safe.

you are supposed to turn them round to forward facing at 6 months here. i havent and will not for as long as physically possible but im prety sure the carseats here dont even cater for rearfacing for longer than 6 months
