Bleeding 7 weeks after miscarriage?

I'm pretty sure I had a miscarriage in late December. I had started taking birth control pills, cramped horribly for about a week, then started bleeding. I passed grey tissue a few days later. I took a pregnancy test before I passed the tissue and it was negative and I never took another one. Fast forward 7 weeks and I'm still spotting. I haven't bled since about 3 days after I passed the tissue, but I've been spotting off and on since. I haven't gone more than 2 days without having to wear a panty liner or a tampon. I've been trying to get in to see my doctor for a few days but she's booked. I've been cramping horribly again, passing clots, and I'm nauseas.
Does it sound like I had a miscarriage and what do you think will happen at the doctor's office? I have an appointment Friday, but I'm freaking myself out wondering what she's going to say.

I have had d and c on a number of occasions now. It is best IMO to help your body out. Then you can try again if you want.

I was engaged at the time but I found out he was cheating on me a few days before I had the miscarriage. We weren't trying but we weren't preventing it either.

No. I left the night it happened and stayed gone over night. I came back home the next morning and he was gone. The only time that I've talked to him since was when I mailed him his W2. I tried to call multiple times and tell him about the miscarriage but he would never answer.

Ya i agree with my mc i had lots of bleeding passed big clots and alot of painfor about four weeks, then light spotting for about three weeks after. My dr said it was a natural misscarriage and didnt need a dnc cuz everything came out.if i was u i would go to a dr asap

Hey! Well, I went to the doctor today. They took urine and did a vaginal ultrasound. Everything on the ultrasound looked fine and there was no tissue left but it was confirmed that I had a miscarriage because I have a uterine infection which has caused the bleeding for so long. She put me on antibiotics and was going to send my urine off to a better lab to see what type of bacteria it is and all that lab techy stuff.
