Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst..

I go to the doctor tomorrow morning and see what he thinks about my ultra sound 2 weeks ago when I was 5w6d and there was just a sac... Then Friday u have an ultra sound for viability... These past 2 weeks I have tried to forget about the pregnancy and not get to attached... I had a blighted ovum in August and praying it won't happen again!

Just a sac is so completely normal at that gestation. I'll bet you get good news on friday

I hope so... I keep thinking back to my ultra sound with my blighted ovum and having to walk out crying... I just want this baby to stick

Remember that stress isn't good for you or baby. I think the most stressful part is trying not to get attached. After I had my m/c, with my next pregnancy I eventually let go of the stress because I decided that even if baby only survives 6, 8 or 10 weeks of gestation that a baby is a baby and it counts and no matter how young baby is it deserves my attachment, even if s/he doesn't make it, s/he is important and deserves my attachment.

Hoping all goes well. I was around that time frame when my ultrasound showed just a sac. then i went back in 2 weeks later and measured 7 weeks with a heartbeat. I guess i ovulated later so i wasnt 6 weeks like i thought when i went in for my first ultrasound. I was only 4 or 5 weeks. Let us know how everything went
