I second "A Child Called it" and the follow ups, along with "Diary of Anne Frank" but screw Twilight. worst book series ever. I figured out what was going on fifteen chapters before it did.

The Hunger Games. I taught a class on it. LOVE the book, it is SO crazy when you really get into the psychology of the book!

Catcher in the Rye... all time favorite book.

The Lovely Bones... made me get over my friends death.

Sarah's Key... WONDERFUL book, seriously one of the most beautiful books I've ever read.

Lord of the Rings... I'm a geek. LOVE it!

I read a lot of horror stuff. Right now John Saul is my favorite author. I love him.

Hated the books (read all of them still hate them) and there isn't a word strong enough for how much I dislike the movies. The books are poorly written and the movies are even worse. Its too mundane too predictable, too childish.

Rene Gutteridge is really good. I enjoy her stuff.
