Wondering???

I'm 34 weeks a few days pregnant, I was put in the hospital last night due to I was contracting 2-3mins apart, they are now coming 10-15mins apart, My doctor seems to think the UTI is what triggered them... My question is, I've been having a chunky white discharge since my return home, Is this from the UTI or am I losing my plug??? Anyone else had this happen to them?

I would call back and tell them you are still contracting. I was put in the hospital the night before last for contractions and dilating. I've already lost my mucus plug. I've never had chunky discharge with a uti. Drink lots of water and take it easy. Lets keep these babies in!!

Are you sure you don't have a yeast infection? That's not from your uti and doesn't sound like your plug.

Yeah, I was checked for a yest & the only thing that came back was a UTI, the looks of the discharge doesn't look like yest to me.. It's not a cottage cheese look, Just clumpy white & sometimes clearish discharge. I've heard women talk about this as a start to losing the plug, this might be one of those things I need to consult with my doctor about.

I've got a few questions for my doc. so im def. gonna call her tomorrow.. This is the first UTI I have ever had, so idk what to expect from it.. I do know (tmi time) my vagina feels swollen, but I think thats just from the pressure making it feel like that..
