The mini pill

Has anyone had any problems after starting the mini pill? I started it a week ago & a couple hours after I did, I ended up in the ER with a fever, stomach pain, uncontrollable bowel movements & endless vomiting (sorry it's TMI). Of course after that happened I discontinued taking it. I want to continue using progestin-only BC since I'm trying to relactate but am not all too excited with possibly having to go on mirena  

it sounds like a coincidence and you had the flu.
