I can't vote as I don't know what you mean by "gay rights."

1000000% i support it!!! and i do want to hear from the people that said no. but im sure they're not saying anything because they have no argument for it. there is NO reason everyone should not be treated equally.

I didn't think it was that difficult to understand.. For them to have all of the same rights straight people do, to adopt, to be part of boy scouts, to be married, to be able to claim eachother on insurance, just everything you can think of that should be basic rights for them that they don't have but straight people have. Most adoption agencies my sister looks at say they won't adopt to gay people and it is irritating seeing as she would probably be a better mother than half of the crackpots they are letting take these kids.

You bet I do. I think it's sickening when people feel the need to limit things such as not being able to marry because someone is the same sex. Then places like cake shops refuse to make cakes for people if its for a gay couple... it's sickening. Why put a limit on two consenting adults loving each other and wanting to marry?

I support the same rights for gays, civilly, as I do all groups of people. However, I also support the rights of private organizations to be able to not be infringed upon, simply because of public pressure. Boy Scouts shouldn't BE MADE to include gay leaders and members. They teach traditional values. That should be respected. Churches shouldn't HAVE to marry anyone...at all...not just gays.

If someone stands firm in their religious and biblical beliefs, they should not be made to violate those beliefs, as long as they are doing harm to none.

For every one bakery that refuses to make a gay wedding cake, I'm sure there are 5 or 10 more, MORE than willing to make it.

I agree with much of what you wrote, but i dont believe that an adoption agency should have to adopt out to imposed guidelines. There are agencies that cater to gay people and agencies that dont cater to gay people.
I dont believe gay people should be a potected class but i do believe they should have the same basic opportunitities as those who arent gay.
