Ameda purely yours breast pump

Anyone had this pump? Good? Bad? This is the pump my insurance will pay for so I don't really get a choice and I've never heard of it. Thanks ladies  

I think that's the one I used with my son... I got it from WIC. It worked fine.

Ameda is just as good, if not better than Medela. It's been around for a long time.

Yep, I have it. Used it for a year w DS and it worked pretty good.

I don't know if they have different kinds but she just told me double electric so I'm sure it's just a basic model but I hope it works well. Last time I had a playtex one with no complaints

Wow in glad to hear good things! It's a rand I never heard of so I was skeptical but I don't know much about pumps to begin with haha

I had the double electric with my son 6 years ago and it is still going strong, I used to pump while at work (I went back after 5 weeks with my first two babies) and only had one 45 min block of time each day to pump and it got the milk off like a hot damn.

I hated mine but I had oversupply issues so that's probably why.  

I have a double electric one and it worked very well (as far as I know-lol) I have nothing to compare it to because that is the only one Ive ever used! I used the Playtex drop ins with it.

The Lansinoh Affinity is the same pump, and I LOVED it! It's just as good as Medela.

Do the platter bottles fit on it or did you pump ten use those bottles? (That's what we are planning to use as well)

I had to get a little breast pump attachment kit for it so the Playtex would fit in it. It was like 10 for a set of 2 attachments, 5 of the rings and 5 lids. I really liked them because you just put the liner down in the ring then screw it onto the attachment onto the breast pump and when you are done you put the lid on if you want to put it in the fridge or You just attach it to the bottle part. For the freezer I would dump it into the lansinoh storage bags so they could lay flat!

Its a lot of parts to work with and wash. I got overwhelmed a little bit (and because I was in nursing school) but it wasn't too bad!

Are these the playtex things you were talking about? I haven't gotten the pump yet but I went ahead and bought these (figured $5 wasn't too muh to risk!)
