My "The Voice" audition piece...

For those of you who wanted to hear.

You get two minutes. So this is what I've got. I'm recovering from tonsillitis so it's definitely not my best work... but I'm pretty sure it'll get me through at least the first round to where I can use backing tracks and my voice will be recovered. Singing a cappella is freaking hard especially when your throat is killing you! Now... I know I'm not a man and I don't have a girl that I've lost to another man, but this song just spoke to me. When I heard it the other day I just said "that's it... that's the one I've been waiting for!" and have been listening to it non stop ever sense. So there ya go. This is what I'll be singing on Saturday for my audition piece! Feedback is always appreciated

ETA the sound isn't the best quality I know... I actually bought a $200 mic and because I don't know how to use it properly the recordings actually sound worse **shrugs**

I really feel like this song is my ticket. It was such a weird feeling when I heard it... It was like meeting your future husband and just KNOWING that that's the one. lol

So do you have to audition in person and send in the tape? What kind of music do you want to sing? I hear country music all the way when I listen to you, LOL
