Nose Piercing Help!

posted 6th Feb
I got my nose pierce about two weeks ago and I've been cleaning with antibacterial soap (as my piercer said). A few nights ago my ring fell out while i was asleep. When I woke up and noticed it was gone I put another one in, but cleaned my hole with peroxide, which I am now finding out is a NO NO, and its made the hole red. Is it still okay to keep it in? I'm going to start using saline to clean it now because the soap is drying out my skin, I just need to know if its okay to keep my piercing in now, even though i've cleaned it with peroxide.

Keep using the antibacterial soap. Saline... like the stuff for ear piercings? Don't use that. I used it on my septum piercing, and it rejected. It's red and irritated because of you having to push the post back through the hole, which was starting to close up. Don't use peroxide again... it'll heal the piercing too fast.

It'll be alright, I'm surprised they put a ring in that'll fall out, the piercing place I go to always uses the ones that are like a spiral

Keep it in. I never used saline, but I mixed my own sea salt water and it worked wonders with all of my piercings and the few keloids I got.

Awesome! Thanks y'all! I thought about mixing my own sea salt "solution" too. Think I'll do that now instead of the saline. The ring was just straight. I replaced it with the ones that have the "ball" at the end.
