A social norm does not negate the term overweight, just because a lot of people are overweight does not change the meaning of the term.

As sad as it is to admit, i'm considered obese, but i feel i don't look like it at all. I've asked a few people how much they think i weigh, and they mostly say in the 180 range, and i'm much more than that.

Not heavier clothes, but I didn't even think of water retention. When I saw I gained a pound I was so discouraged I gave up. Now I'm thinking I shouldn't have because I could have made progress. My thinking was "I'm busting my ass and I'm gaining weight so smurf it" lol

I think you are doing amazing things, especially if people are commenting on it! It means they're noticing! I would love updates of before and after pics. Keep up the good work!

So i think i've made progress.

Before I got pregnant with DS I weighed 89 lbs..That was too skinny. Now over a year later i'm staying between 100-110. You look healthy IMO.

me too. everyone thinks i look around 175-185.

i'm 5'10" and weigh about 270.

My MIL always says SO & I were getting "too skinny" when we lost heaps of weight... technically he was still overweight & I'm obese. She's a weirdo though. She's obese too and not willing to do anything about it because she thinks it's perfectly fine to be that way.
