What do you think?

I'm torn. Hubs wants to get me something for valentines day. He suggested a new watch.
I til him eh maybe not because I already have 2 watches. He said they cheapen my current jewellery and wants me to have something nice. So I picked out a nice Tag watch. The jeweller wants $2800 for it, but said they could put it down to $2200.
I really don't know. I can't make a decision.
Would you want your SO to get it?

Um no.
It's a watch. I feel like I am dumb for spending $300 on my watches.
quoteposted 6th Feb
Hell no, thats too expensive for a damn watch!
quoteposted 6th Feb
No, because I can think of 124754378 better things to spend $2200 on.

IMO, That's a ridiculous amount to spend on a watch.
I would be pissed if my husband spent that much on one gift.

That thing better have a decent amount of diamonds and gold on it.

No. If I going to spend that much I'd get a new setting for my ring. Ha.

Holy crap, I'd never let hubby spend that much on anything for me, lol.
My Valentine's gift is lunch at Olive Garden.

DH bought me a $400 dollar watch last v-day and I almost killed him for it, BUT then he told me that it was a breast cancer awareness watch and that part of the cost was going to be donated. That was the only redeeming quality to the cost.
I would vomit if he spent $2200 dollars on a watch.

No, I wouldn't want my husband buying a watch that expensive. Especially being a mommy.. my daughter wants everything I wear lol. Plus it would hit the budget too hard. Not worth it.

Jason is getting me a DSLR for a late anniversary present. Last year I got my kitchenaid.

Ooh! I love my dslr
See I got him a nice formula 1 tag watch for Christmas last year because he was talking it at the shop. That was 3k. I'm fine with buying stuff for him, but I don't know.. Him spending it on me after he's spent so much already.. I just don't know.

You know, I just realized you're in Australia. I know that you guys make more over there and the cost of things is higher also, so it probably wouldn't be as bad as it is my head if bought you that watch lol. Maybe some fellow Aussies can give you better perspective (that is if none of them have already commented in this thread lol)
