Heparin

Switched to Heparin today.... since they don't want me to go into full blown labor without it.... but it's 10,000mg twice a day... is this right? Sadly though they only have 5000mg, so I have to do two injections in the morning and two at night.... anyone else doing this?!

I take 15,000mg a day spread out between three doses (8am, 2pm and 8pm) I've officially run out of room on my belly and sadly have to switch to shooting it in my thighs, ugh. I've been putting off my evening dose because I'm not looking forward to it (and I was having contractions until about 20 minutes ago anyways.)

Hmmm, you take 15,000 at a time? I take 10,000 at a time (20,000 for the day)

I know my doctor wouldn't over dose me, but I am nervous... because I am used to lovenox.... and i'm low dose... so I was worried that this is 20,000 a day is too much?!

No, 15,000 total.
I do 3 5,000mg vials a day so it comes out to 15,000mg total for the day. I was doing 20,000 a day in the hospital, but that's because I was confined to the bed.

Do you think 20,000 a day is too much?! I'm on 40mg? of lovenox.... well I was.... tonight I switch.
