Sorry hun. I hope yours comes faster than ours. I don't know what's going on with the IRS they quick to take money but slow in giving. Hopefully you get yours in 8 days. They are saying that it's either going to be on the 8th day or the 14th day or the 21st day. So if ours isn't in on the 14th day i know we won't see it til the 20th at least. It needs to hurry up so I can reserve our cabin. We're taking a vacation to Tennessee March 21st.

Our car gave out Friday. I need a new(used) car lol. Its causeing a ton of stress in our relationship. Ugh.

It'll eithe be Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. I have one that I fell in love with but until taxes come in I'm still looking. I'm sorry your car gave out. I know the feeling. I had bought an explorer with my school check in April of last year and after having it 5 months it started giving us problems. Well on my birthday (Sept. 10) I was gonna use my school check that came in to get it looked at and possibly fixed but I said screw it. I took the 1000 and went and put down on a car. I have a small note now but it'll be paid off in a year. So it's no biggie. I was going to pay it off with taxes but I want to keep most of that money for a buffer plus vacation.

Make sure you shop the outlets!!   my home town is only an hour and a half from there.   I just wish the car would have made it another month. Haha

I filed the 30th and got it back today, the only thing is.. i got 4x the amount, and trying to get it fixed is a bitch, i wonder if it happened to everyone .

Oh so. I would go ahead and use the 7k if you need to and just leave the rest alone until you can get ahold of them.... or go tot the IRS office.

haha today I was telling my tax lady I got an extra 100 or so for the state, and she told me "don't question it.. the irs doesnt usually pay too much.. if anything they take too much..."

I still havent gotten my federal though. I checked and we did the sign and save on january 3rd.. she filed it, but the irs didnt sign off on it until the 23rd when we took in hubby's W2... she told me just to wait...
