Poor baby.

My daughter (15 months old) had a stomach bug about a week ago. It was only a 24 hour bug. For about 6 days she has been coughing so hard shes been throwing up. I took her to the doctor today and she has pnemonia.   I feel so bad that i didnt take her to the doctor sooner. The doctor sent in an antibiotic and an inhaler for her and wants me to bring her back to the office tomorrow.  

Aw, don't beat yourself up, mama. Pneumonia can be hard to pick up on. I had it and didn't even know it (thought it was bronchitis). I finally went to the doctor and they ended up putting me in the hospital for two days.

Luckily you caught it before it got to that point. I hope she feels better fast!

Oh wow! I'm glad i caught i before she had to be in the hospital but i wish she didnt have to go through it at all. I just took her to the doctor today and they sent me to the hospital to get an xray and told me to bring her back tomorrow. I dont understand why i would have to bring her 2 days in a row.

Not sure...maybe to see how the inhaler helps. When my daughter had h1n1 a couple years ago she was so wheezy they put her on a nebulizer. If I remember correctly, they had her come back the next day just to make sure her lungs were pushing air the way they should.
