glasses

well i posted last week asking how they did eye exams on younger kids. and well today was my daughters appt and she is farsighted according to their testing and the pictures they took of her eyes before and after they dialated them (which took forever since she wouldnt stop moving her eyes lol). so my little lady should be getting her glasses sometime next week. here is a preview of her in them
they were the smallest lenses on the plastic frames we could find that wernt just little circles over her eyes that made her look weird. and since she likes to bend metal glasses had to get the plastic. but i think she looks cute in them

Cute! My youngest has been in glasses since she was 2, I would get an activity strip for the back until she gets used to wearing them and also so they stay in place while she is playing at the park or wherever.

yea she is 2 also will be 3 in april i already planned on getting some kind of strap for them cause im sure if she doesnt my 9 month old will pull them off and so will my 10 month old niece lol and the last thing i need is for them to fall off and her step on them

Wal-mart has a one year guarantee on all their glasses, I've taken my daughters in several times to get the frames replaced.   they are going to get broken, lol

we live in a small town so we just went to the dr here. im not even sure if walmart takes our insurance either. but this dr will fix glasses for free if you got them there if they are able to be fixed

That's good! Our insurance doesn't cover the cost of glasses but we get the cheap frames. She is legally blind in her right eye and we are trying to regain her sight with patching. Her prescription changes every few months. Her first set was $36 and this new set we just ordered cost $50, they charged extra for the thickness of the lenses, lol.

yea she has the state insurance so it covers everything so she only gets a certain selection and they arent very awsome lol. she wanted hello kitty glasses but they werent covered

Aww bummer! Maybe you can get her some later when she is more used to them and will take care of them! My daughter is 4 now and takes really good care of hers now!

they have a hello kitty case so i told her i would get that for her so she was happy lol
