Could just be the change in environment.

She's probably terrified. 6 weeks is too early to wean a puppy. You should wait 8-10 weeks. Poor thing must be so scared.

She'll get comfortable, this is just a new environment. Just reward her whenever she roams around, and just make sure she isn't approached quickly or aggressively whenever she is in the house.

Get a good sized kennel for her, put a bed in it and cover it with a blanket so just the entrance is open. Make her a cave, essentially. You will have to lead her into it, but dogs instinctively are more comfortable in their own little area and cave. It should help a lot. Just leave the door open for her.

Well at 6w old she's still supposed to be with her mother. In most states, it's illegal to sell a dog before 8w for that reason.

This is true as well. Most dogs aren't supposed to be separated from their mother until 8weeks at the very least.

She's too young to be taken away from her mother. She should still be getting her milk. But what's done is done. She needs a cozy kennel to relax in and a comfort item like a stuffed animal. Take hings slow and introduce her to different part if the house everyday. She must be scared to death b

That doesn't mean that she wasn't learning things from her mother and sublings that she can't learn from a human. Like how to act around other dogs, etc.

This and give her time. That lady was looking out for her own interests not the puppy's.

It's not just about nursing, puppys are still developing emotionally, taking them away too early can cause separation anxiety and destructive behaviors. I'm not lecturing you, just letting you know. Give her lots of love and attention, make her feel safe. She'll warm up soon, she just wasn't ready to be on her own yet.

Just make sure you wait until she gets her parvo shots before you let her touch any type of ground that other dogs with parvo could have been on (dog parks, sidewalks ect..)

Just give her time. Don't stress her out too much. When she is ready to explore she will. She is just super young
