Alone time in the bath?

How old was your child when you let them have alone time in the bath?

My youngest was 3ish and I don't go far, just put laundry away in the bedrooms that are next door to the bathroom. My son was probably 4.

I still don't and my oldest is 6.

I'm in the next room with my four and a half year old.

At about 12-14 months I would run to the laundry room (next to the bathroom) to grab a towel if i needed. She was about 2.5 before I could leave the room for a few minutes or run downstairs if I needed to. She would always talk to me while I was out the bathroom or I just had to say make some noise and she would.

About this age. around 3 and it was only to do do quick things and she got checked on a million times. Now shes 5 and when she bathes alone I'll leave her up there and I tell her to call me when shes done but most of the time she bathes with her one year old sister so I stay in there with them.

DD was 4 years old, but i was in the other room right next to the bathroom. she's 6 now and she bathes all alone. she even turns the water off when she's done.

Oldest is 3 and I'm still not willing to yet.

This. I might walk into the attached laundry room or grab clothes pull out Jammie's but I'm no more that 10 feet away & can hear everything

I don't let my 2 year old bathe by herself mostly because she stands up and tries to jump.

our bedroom and bathroom have a connecting door i will walk in out to get things and lay out their clothes and stuff but i also make very little baths so if they lay down on their backs their faces are out the water... my two dd's are 2.5 and 1

Thanks ladies, DS will be 3 in May and SO thinks he's ready to have some alone time in the bath. Our place is pretty tiny and the bathroom is in the middle of the house so I can hear him where ever I am. I've left him to get a towel and stuff but never let him play alone.
