Okay. She met Eve[the daughter] when she started going out with her SO. She knew him before that but never met his daughter. I don't understand why that's hard to believe.

She over-exaggerated apparently. People do that. The bigger issue - the kid is being neglected at her biological mother's care - is being ignored because of a minuscule detail.

I don't like this part, either. But who really gives a smurf when she met the kid? She was 2 1/2, still a toddler when OP entered her life.

We are. We are setting up a date with SO's lawyer next week, when he is free. Hes been busy lately, and where taken everything we have about her to him, and getting a court date sometime soon. Its going to be awhile and more money we dont have but worth it.

I don't think that they care, just that OP needs to get her smurf together and stop saying one thing, then another because that smurf is annoying.
