TMI mucus plug???

I am 39 weeks today and when i went to the dr on monday i was 1cm dialated but not thinning. when i woke up yesterday i went to the bathroom normally but when i wiped i had alot of discharge with a dime sized reddish/ brown piece on the tp. kinda the same thing today but not so big and it was streaked not a small glob. is this my mucus plug? or am i just starting to thin out? 1st prenancy just curious!!! thank you

Yep it's most likely a part of your mucus plug. When the dr checked you yesterday, it probably irritated things a bit. It could mean you're thinning out a bit too, but there's no way to tell that by what's coming out of there.
