re: GONE!

I went on a date with a really gay guy (who at the time did not know it). But he took me to his after school job at the retirement home to meet all his old people, and then Burger King, where I of course paid for myself.  

I went to six flags with this Guy I had a huge crush on... halfway through our date he started talking about how hot the Guy working one of the rides was. Then he got his number.... I was kinda shocked.

That had to be awkward.

I was on a first date with someone I met online.. asking generic questions about each other.. and suddenly he wants to know if I like anal.

umm... wtf dude? I always find sexually inappropriateness early on funny. Because.. I'm REALLY open minded, fun in the sac, willing to try/do pretty much anything. but... if you ask about anal on a first date... smurfer will never find out.

This isn't really a horrible date; just one that threw me for a loop & sticks out in my mind the most. I met a guy online. He asked me to go on a kind of spur-of-the-moment date. For some reason I agreed (which was very out of character for me, considering I was very shy & we hadn't been talking long). I was 18; he was well into his 20's. On his way to pick me up, he texts me & says:

"Oh by the way, I'm deaf."

I'm thinking - holy smu*fballs! I don't know sign language. How is this going to work!? Apparently he could read lips. I figured I'd give him a chance...

He really could read lips! And I didn't feel like we had a problem communicating, I just had to be mindful to face him when I spoke… He had a really nice, loud sound system in his car & I kid you not, hundreds of CDs. I was so confused, Ha. He said he couldn't hear the music, but he could feel it. Okay man, warming my heart already... We went ice skating at a mall & had a TON of fun being uncoordinated together. We went to a pet store, played with & watched animals for hours on end. Went to Taco Bueno for dinner - which was A-okay with my 18 year old self at the time because I was a super picky eater but looove me some burritos, HaHa. Music, goofy fun, animals & burritos - he's doing *great* so far. We picked up some drinks then went back to his college apartment to hang out a little longer. He started showing me old pictures, old newspaper clippings & we talked about more personal things. At this point I was thinking, sure, I think I could date him… Then he told me a heart breaking story about his girlfriend who had died in a car accident several years back. Told me all about her, how much he loved her - he had proposed to her shortly before she passed. Serious tuggin' on my heart strings.

Then he dove right in. Telling me that he felt about ME, the way he felt about HER - that he thought he might be "in love" with me already. & I was DONE. I had recently come out of a horribly abusive relationship & my mind/ heart wasn't having any of that. Too much, way too soon. We talked for a few more hours & then I asked him to take me home. The next time we were texting I told him the L word, that fast, was just too much for me… I felt like a HUGE dick, but it was one of the first times in my life to be completely honest about my feelings.

Not a horrible date by any means, just my one & only "Whoa. Pump the brakes!" kind of thing.

Went on a date with a guy in high school... we went to a movie, then he asked if I wanted to go over his friends house with him. I said okay.
We got there and they turned on some anime porn and started watching it together... then started talking about how they wanted to be/were satanists and some gross things about dead babies and how they tortured small animals. None of which were they only joking about.
Then they started making fun of Irish and Jewish people... Seriously racist, again, not jokingly. I'm Irish BTW and pretty sure my date knew that.

Yeah... I called my brother and had him come pick me up. They were the weirdest, meanest bunch of smurfs ever.

I never talked to the guy again, he kept calling me leaving messages and I ignored him.

Yeah, it was weird.
I met him at a Misfits concert, he was friends of my friends and went to their school.

Needless to say, I did NOT fall in love with the boy from the rock show
