I'm pregnant but I don't believe in abortion. Advice?

I'm 24. I've got no job and I'm addicted to recreational substances. The thing is I am not really open to this option to get an abortion. But it's like idk what else to do. I don't think I'd be able to quit a long enough time to do adoption. So I feel like I'm screwed. Umm anyone else been in a similar situation how could you make a decision you were completely comfortable with?

I believe, if you're an addict, that you have two options keep using and abort or get clean and adopt. Either way you need rehab!

Honestly... if you already know you can't be selfless enough to quit now, I would encourage you to get an abortion.

This. Best of luck OP Im sure its not an easy decision but you need to do whats best for everyone involved. If you cant stay clean and healthy during your pregnancy then maybe an abortion is the best option.

If you're an addict then you really should enter a rehabilitation facility immediately. You can still have a healthy child if you quit using immediately.

Your options are simple:

1. Get clean and healthy and keep the baby.
2. Have an abortion.
3. Give the child up for adoption.

That's it really.

If you are addicted to drugs and unwilling to quit, abortion is the most selfless thing to do, IMO.
If you absolutely can't/won't get one, you need to seek professional help to get clean so you don't have a child who suffers because of your chemical dependency. And then look into adoption or take the steps you need to successfully parent.

Well, weed is fine so if that's your recreational drug of choice, you're fine. If its other stuff I would suggest abortion. You would be causing the baby possible harm and developmental issues not to mention not many ppl want to adopt a baby that is addicted and has to come down. I personally would adopt an addict baby but like I said, it's a tough road and adoption isn't easy for said babies.

I think I'd start with making an appointment with a dr to see how far along you are and what's going on in there. In a situation where you know you're going to be on 'recreational drugs' the whole pregnancy, i would think that an abortion would be better than torturing a baby with withdrawal and possibly birth defects. Not to mention, a baby like that would have a hard time getting adopted.

You have 3 different options.
1. Abortion.
2. Keep using/Have kid
3. Stop using/Have Kid

It is a hard decision but you have to look at your life honestly and decide what you want to do and what kind of life you want to produce/not produce. Think about the future of that life you create. Do you want it living with problems from in utero drug exposure? Are you willing to totally give up recreational drugs to give this kid a chance? Would this child have a quality life? Would it be better not to go through with the pregnancy? It really is up to you. You have a choice. It's a tough choice but it is yours to make.

Go to a hospital and tell them your situation and find out what resources are available to you. You need to get yourself cleaned up for that baby's sake. Especially if you don't believe in abortion.

Honestly, I think that your best option is Abortion. You need to get help and get clean and while some people may say that having a baby will help you with that, It's not fair to bring a child into that kind of situation just HOPING that it will change your way of life. I think you should do the most selfless thing possible right now, and abort and then go to rehab.

Then you have 3 options. Adoption, clean your act up and parent or drop your baby at a safe haven spot.

Honestly, from having relatives that were addicted to drugs/booze and had kids, you're better off getting an abortion than bringing a child into this world with problems caused by these drugs. It isnt fair at all.
