Back labor...

What's it like?

Painful. It felt like someone was trying to rip my uterus out thru my back.

Horrible! I have issues with my back to begin with but after two kids and contractions I mostly felt in my back.... I'd rather be stabbed with rusty scissors.

Painful, constant pressure in my lower back. I didn't feel anything in my belly until half way through labor.

It felt like to me somebody was stomping on my back with every contraction. It hurt so bad..

It's hell. Absolutely smurfing miserable. Like your back is trying to climb out and murder you.

i had belly labour for half and then he flipped and i had back labour.

Much preferrd belly labour! Back labour was sm**rfing awefull!!

Not for me. It was never ending pressure. At first I thought it was just a bowel movement pain but after 4 hours of it I knew it wasn't.

Whatever this is JUST started, so it's not God-awful... just constant and kinda painful. If it were true back labor though, would it get worse or just start out horrible and just stay that way? I'm also crampy like in my thighs...?

Mine started off not so bad and then turned god awful but that was over a period of two days

Mine started out not so bad then after an hour or 2 it got pretty bad. I also had pain in my thighs. If you plan on going to L&D I'd wait it out for awhile and see if the pain gets worse.
