People are preparing to fire if fired upon. Quit making it out like everyone who is a second amendment advocate is going to walk up and down the street, shooting whoever is in sight.

It's a moot point. We will arm ourselves with what is available...to us. What difference does it actually make if the government bombs it's own people.

Taking on the government doesn't have to mean vigilante justice. Also, guns play a small part. Timothy McVeigh "took on" the government with fertilizer and a U-haul.
Standing up against perceived injustices does not mean going militia style and shooting people up. On that same note, there are plenty of anarchist groups with no religious affiliation that would do much greater harm with household goods.
Wanting to be armed for protection does not equal shooting any time you feel threatened. And this picture of right wing nuts clinging to guns and religion and hating everyone is propaganda. It's just another tool used to divide our nation.
