Back on Birth Control!!! :(

After patiently waiting for my body to get back to normal menstrual cycle after our miscarriage last year. I've decided to get back on Birth Control for a few months (ok 3 months) I discussed with my doctor this morning, and even though she insisted since day 1 to get back on BC I was kind of hesistant because I felt my body would be back to a normal cycle by itself so I could try to Conceive sooner. Turns out a year later I still dont get periods and when they do its really off therefore I never know when i'm Ovulating.

Turns out the only way to get my Menstrual cycle is getting back on Birth Control for 3 months and getting off of it & I can try right after that.

Has anybody been through this? Was it a struggle to get pregnant again?

Don't let having to get on birth control for a few months get you down, sometimes it's the best thing when ttc. I had to do the same thing last year after my chemical because my period was all over the place, lasting insane amounts of days. After discussing the option of birth control with SO, we decided we might have a better chance of conceiving if I did the pills for a few months since we were having no luck. I went on the pills for at least a month, and when I finally decided to go off of them, I ovulated and conceived 2 weeks later. I am now 23 weeks with a little girl. I really believe that if I hadn't given the pills a try, we would still be ttc. Good luck, and I really hope the pills work for you like they did for me.
