i need help. almost 3 year old eating

posted 6th Feb
Chub will be three in April. She eats everything. Literally everything. Her stuffed animals, paper, cardboard. Crayons, erasers, qtips. Like I said, literally everything. She just takes bites and chews it like food.

Should I be worried? Fathead never did this. Ever. Is there a line between just being a kid and a problem? She eats actual food too, no problem, and she's not picky. But this just worries me.

Huh

Luke was really bad about that too, but he did eventually stop.

Has she been tested for anemia? (fingerstick)
That can sometimes cause people to eat non-food items.

Last time she was tested was her 2 year. It was normal, but I know a lot can change.

I just worry because it's literally everything.

She should be due for it coming up in her 3 year physical, I would def mention it to the pedi.

You can try loading her up on basic protein foods and see if it makes a difference. Possibly add a chewy multiple if she will take it.

I'd ask her pedi. Might be a sensory thing, like wanting to experience everything through her mouth.

None. She cant have it. She does soy but only 8 oz a day, if that. Mail water or watered down juice.

If you were a good mom you would watch her so she couldnt eat things that she isn't suppoesd to. My suggestion is be a better mom.

Lawlz. So who are you a really?

She shoves smurf in her mouth RIGHT IN FRONT PF ME. She's almost 3. I'm not a helicopter mom. Besides, I also work. So ya know.

My advice to you is stop hiding behind a fake profile and say what you need to. My parent is amazing. Get over yourself.
