Teeth Brushing!

I have always brushed my kids teeth. I let them brush their own but then I always brush them again because I have a fear they miss their teeth, and well, I want them to have nice teeth even if they are just baby teeth.

When do you stop brushing their teeth and trust them to do it themselves? My girls are 5 and 3 (almost 6 and 4).

at like 5 i stopped. maybe 4 i dont remember. i stand there and watch them tho

I brush both the 6yo & 3yos teeth. The 6yo doesn't even try, the 3yo loves brushing his teeth.

Oh good! I really thought I was the only woman that STILL brushes their kids teeth :-)

I dont blame you for wanting to do it for them. You can always brush yours with them they will wanna copy how you brush yours.

I do this with DD, I think you keep doing it until you know they know what they're doing really, Its not worth the risk to their teeth, baby teeth help the adult teeth come in properly so its just as important to look after them IMO
