Wow! I've never heard that early before.

My daughter is nearly 3 and still holds her pee in public. I didn't do anything to work on night training, I don't really think there is much you can do. She just stopped peeing the bed at night. She has pretty good control of her bladder. I think a lot of people worry too much about getting their kids to not what the bed, sometimes there is nothing you can do but wait for the child to out grow it.

Yes asking for advice as to if this is common practice. My son is not potty trained at night. I was not doing this BECAUSE of my friend. I looked it up online and I guess a lot of parents do this so then I figured I would ASK on here.
I did not say that I would 100% do this, I was simply asking if I should and was asking for opinions based on experiences sorry I did not specify better.

Her kids go to bed at 7, so it's only 2hrs really

My daughter takes a drink bottle to bed with her, just like I do

I guess it's early depending on what time u sen your kids to bed. It's only 2hrs before her kids go to bed. It's not that early really... I don't agree with it at all though

After 5??? What time does she put them to bed????

We cut JUICE off at 630. Water afterwards - between 8-9.

My 3yr old goes to be around 730pm so I don`t give her anything to drink after 6. We`re working on potty training and this is how I do it. If she is really thirsty and keeps asking for something to drink, I will give her about 1-2 oz of something to drink but no more then that.
